As the saying goes, “a lot can happen over a cup of coffee”. It is this philosophy that inspired the creation of Café Beirut, a Lebanese institution now open in Dubai’s Al Murooj Rotana complex, opposite the Dubai Mall in the city center.

The venue was designed to mimic that of the original in Beirut, and the dining room is warm and inviting thanks to a collection of black and white portraits of 1950s Beirut adorning the round domed ceiling that floods the room. main room of natural light rays. . Ornate features inspired by Beirut’s golden age of bustling streets and buzzing culture include a huge ceramic water fountain, and the scenic garden gets a Dubai upgrade with sweeping views of the Burj Khalifa, while still evoking the same inviting feel as inside, serving as the perfect afternoon or evening spot to enjoy light snacks and a beautiful Dubai backdrop.

On the menu, a huge range of options includes all-day breakfasts, a variety of mezza and grill specialties. Start the day with breakfast staples like pine nut, egg and sojouk ballila, hummus fattet and grilled halloumi cheese, or gather with friends for lunch or dinner to feast on plates of mouttabal or garlicky labneh in the cold mezza section, or try the sautéed chicken livers or falafel tacos in the hot mezza.

More substantial options from the grill include chicken, schnitzel, kafta meat, lamb tenderloin, and shawarma, complemented by daily specials and a kids’ menu. Gourmands will appreciate the knefeh, the osmalieh cheesecake, the um Ali, the Nutella qatayef and the daaoukyeh.

Everything is washed down with a unique collection of hot, non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks. Warm up on a chilly evening with a tiramisu latte, or cool down with a date frappucino, sip on a healthy detox juice or toast to a memorable evening with one of Café Beirut’s delicious fruity cocktails.

Café Beirut is the latest opening from 7Management, the hospitality company behind Dubai’s award-winning concepts including Beirut-born brands Antika in DIFC, Seven Sisters in Business Bay and B018 in Media One Hotel.
