These Miami hotels, restaurants and bars are celebrating Pride Month and donating to local nonprofits

June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month, when lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer people come together to celebrate, elevate and defend their rights and voices, rooted in the Stonewall Uprising in June 1969.

Miami has no shortage of celebrations, and this year a number of hotels, restaurants, and bars are additionally making donations to local nonprofits that further support, educate, and empower the LGBTQ+ community in South Miami. Florida.

Here is a list of places where you can celebrate and support:

For every order of this month’s featured cocktail, 1 Love, made with Absolute Elyx, lychee, Lillet Rouge, Flor Rosé prosseco and St. Germain Elderflower—25% of the proceeds will be donated to Pride of Miami Beach. It is available at all hotel F&B outlets: Drift, Watr, Habitat, Beach Club and Sandbox.

In addition, for all room stays during the month, a donation of $10 per stay will also go to the organization. Upon check-in, hotel guests will receive a “Love is Love” bracelet.

Miami’s only bar on the World’s 50 Best Bars 2022 list, Cafe La Trova’s back bar, 80s 305 Bar, will feature two special cocktails with 100% of proceeds going to Pride lines. The Mariquitas include Gray Goose vodka, Licor 43, lime juice and cranberry juice, served with a side of banana chips, mariquitas de plátano. Pink and Bubbly is a cocktail made with Bombay Sapphire gin with guava syrup and lime juice, topped with prosecco. The 80’s 305 bar is open on Friday and Saturday evenings, from midnight.

The National Hotel on Miami Beach has partnered with Quore Gelato for a special flavor of gelato made with passion fruit, dragon fruit and tequila, available poolside, with a portion of proceeds going to benefit TO REGISTER.

For the month of June, for each order of Pubbelly’s Passion Fruit Sangria, made with Sauvignon Blanc, fresh lime juice, passion fruit mousse, soda and seasonal fruit) – one part of the profits will be donated to SAVE. The cocktail is available at all locations: Aventura Mall, Brickell City Centre, Downtown Dadeland and Miami Beach.

Bodega Taqueria y Tequila will donate a percentage of proceeds from all Bodega app and website orders to SAVE all month of June at all four Bodega locations in Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, South Beach and West Palm Beach.

Pan-Asian restaurant Tanuki celebrates Pride Month with a special Sakura cocktail, featuring Corazon Blanco Tequila, Cranberry Juice, Lime Juice, Seedlip, Muddled Watermelon, and Garnished Fresh Watermelon Slices. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to TO REGISTER.
