Santa Clarita Valley Bella Vida Senior Center officials have announced this year’s theme for their signature fundraiser.
This year’s theme for the Celebrity Waiter is “A Night in Hollywood,” star-directed Melanie Meyer and Elizabeth Hopp announced on Wednesday.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Bella Vida.
“Due to the great success of last year’s event, it will continue to take place totally outdoors in the spacious Bella Vida Courtyard and surrounding grounds,” said event organizers.
Sponsorships are available and range in price from $2,000 to $10,000, which includes seating for up to 10 guests, wine, special gifts, local print and social media recognition and more. more so, according to event organizers.
“Our celebrity servers/ambassadors to be honored this year are our food service volunteers who have continued to serve during the pandemic,” senior SCV officials said.
The SCV Senior Center — Food Service Program broke the record for the number of meals served and the Center was named the nation’s No. 1 for outdoor events during COVID, according to officials.
In addition to table decorations and elaborate costumes, guests can enjoy pre-dinner cocktails and then bid in a live auction that is expected to feature unique experiences including exciting and long-awaited travel packages, according to the organizers of the event.
Proceeds from this annual event are intended to help support the many programs and services offered by the SCV Senior Center located at 27180 Golden Valley Road in Santa Clarita.
