Ten years ago, Puesto Mexican Artisan Kitchen & Bar shook the world of Mexican cuisine when they opened the doors to their first location in La Jolla, California in February 2012. Bringing a quirky, contemporary and innovative twist new to traditional Mexico City-style cuisine, Puesto started with its first location with a line of walk-in tacos, and now has nine full-service restaurants and two sports stadium locations spanning from San Diego to Orange County to by the Bay Area.
Known for its lively dining experiences and award-winning tacos wrapped in crispy melted cheese and handmade tortillas, Puesto celebrates with a legion of loyal fans who build excitement with every opening and every taco. In 10 years, they’ve served more than 18.3 million tacos, enough that if lined up end to end, their length would stretch from San Diego to Mexico City.

The Puesto team reflects fondly on all the tacos, margaritas and memories that led them to this moment. The anniversary festivities will continue throughout the year, with a special 10-year-old cerveza available at all Puesto locations and to go in a custom growler, bringing back their Taco of the Month promotion featuring Mexico City favorites, and more. On its official anniversary, Thursday, February 10, 2022, Puesto invites guests to their Puesto neighborhood to celebrate with a free taco that will pair perfectly with its 10th anniversary Celebration Cerveza.
