This popular bar and restaurant added its eighth spot with its just-opened Edison location, which began welcoming diners on March 2. This popular restaurant, bar, and pizzeria serves up all of its best food on the new site, including charcoal-cooked pizzas, a slew of burgers and sandwiches, and extensive small-plate and sushi menus. Tommy’s also hosts onsite events and offsite catering.

It’s all in the name – Real Fruit Bubble Tea uses real fruit, along with the highest quality ingredients, in all of its beverages. Real Fruit Bubble Tea’s specialty is craft beverages and fresh teas brewed from loose leaf and espresso makers. Fruit drinks are made only with real fruit processed on site. No pre-made or pre-packaged juices are available in store. Each drink is customizable, with a selection of toppings. The Freehold Mall location opens March 10.

Annie & Em’s Bakery, Hoboken
The long-awaited opening of this Hoboken bakery has officially arrived. Starting February 22, fans of Annie & Em’s gluten-free baked goods can visit the physical Hoboken location. Beyond gluten-free items, Annie & Em’s also offers a selection of vegan and dairy-free options. Some of the most popular items include Nutella Sea Salt Brownies and Zucchini Chocolate Chip Bread.

Bon Banh, Hoboken
A new restaurant is finally taking over from the old Stacks Pancake House, which has been vacant for over a year. Enter Bon Banh, a fast and casual Vietnamese restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. Owners Tony and Kathy Kim told The Hoboken Girl that this casual restaurant will offer classic Vietnamese dishes such as the Banh Mi sandwich, as well as summer rolls and rice bowls, with plenty of meat options as well as vegetarian and tofu choices. Stay tuned for an opening date.

Chez Joe Leone, Manasquan
Joe Leone’s joins the family with its new location in Manasquan. This Italian specialty store offers sandwiches, salads and soups, as well as daily specials. Plus, plenty of prepared Italian dishes are offered daily, such as Tuscan Garlic Chicken and Spaghetti Pomodorini, though options vary. Catering is also available. The Manasquan branch opened its doors on March 2.

Now officially a trio, Porta’s new location in Montclair joins well-known spots in Jersey City and Asbury Park. The new spot opened on February 25 and has a similar vibe to the other venues. Porta offers an extensive menu of pizzas, pastas and many small plates. Try the mozzarella or ricotta, both freshly made daily. Plus, Sunday is brunch day and it’s hard to say no to lemon ricotta pancakes and orange walnut French toast.

Cuzin’s of Marlboro has expanded to open a branch in New Brunswick. This seafood restaurant prides itself on the freshest catch, imported daily and prepared to perfection.
