Whether you’re looking for something fruity and seasonal like a Fig Negroni or dark rum and a concoction of sweetened condensed milk infused with hot spices, these drink recipes are sure to fill your cup with a holiday flavor.
This drink mixed with ginger and vodka is shaken, not stirred. It’s like James Bond’s martini meets a gingerbread cookie! The team behind the cocktail program at HALL Arts Hotel Dallas shared the seasonal recipe below.
1 ounce of lemon juice
2 ounces of vodka of your choice
Crush the fresh ginger in a shaker.
Add 1 oz of lemon juice, 2 oz of vodka of your choice and shake vigorously over ice.
Strain over fresh ice into a Collins glass and garnish with sliced fresh ginger.
Milk for Santa
14 ounces of dark rum
1 can of evaporated milk
1 can of condensed milk
1 can of Coco Lopez
Cinnamon, star anise, cloves
Infuse the rum with the spices then mix with the rest of the ingredients. Keep refridgerated.
Terrace the rooms
1.5 ounces of scotch
1 ounce of Fiero vermouth
1 ounce of red wine *
Add all the ingredients to a mixing dish on ice, shake and strain.
Pour into a highball glass or wine glass with crushed ice and garnish with fruits and herbs of your choice.
* Note: Use whatever red wine you have on hand; it’s a great way to finish off a bottle from the night before.
12 ml of bitter liqueur
30 ml Ambrato infused with figs
Infuse Martini & Rossi Riserva Ambrato with dried figs until preferred taste is achieved.
Pour all the ingredients into a glass filled with ice cubes, mix well, stirring gently, and garnish with a fresh fig cut in half.
1 1/2 ounce of red vermouth
1 oz dark rum or bourbon
0.5 oz of coffee liqueur
0.5 oz of amaro (I used Amaro di Angostura)
6 drops of saline solution
Stir and strain into a highball glass with ice cubes.
Garnish with an orange expression.
1 1/2 ounce of gin
3 oz Indian Fever Tree Tonic
2 ounces of apple juice (unfiltered)
Build in a balloon glass and decorate with a few sliced apple slices and a sprinkling of nutmeg.
